'Unless one has a glimpse of the spiritual within , humans will always be clamoring for material things’- Ranjit Makkuni------------------- In this fast paced life with an influx of rapid audio visual bombardments, high aspirations, endless choices, healing for self and the planet can come through stopping and resting in the silence of present moment.............. Moksha is.... space to dissolve ignorance through knowledge, ‘I’ through experience, to touch the underlying timeless dimension present in all things. Moksha is envisioned as a space of sharing of experiences and knowledge from the travels through life, to trigger reflection, evoke inner journeys and contribute to a green, more sensitive living. Features, verses, anecdotes, sacred knowledge and wisdom drawn from across the world from any and everywhere ..... Nature, spiritual systems , arts, textiles, clothing, music, dance, learning methods.....also, stories of love, hope and humanity in real life. Moksha strives to value, preserve and grow all that reclaims the beautiful experience that being alive is. Moksha is a celebration of life in all it's flavours........ Ritu Jain..... ©2010 Ritu Jain

Dance...

i did not learn to dance...but i only gave myself to the music.. i only became aware of the inner rhythm and i learnt to surrender , to allow my body to move to it's tune...and then i even lost the music and simply whirled...only that is love, only that is joy, only that is ecstacy , only that is bliss, when i am one or.. when i am not ....only it

Creative process~Spiritual process

In a way, the spiritual process is to experientially move from form to formless, gross to subtle, matter to noneness and creative process is to manifest formless into form, subtle to gross and noneness to matter but essentially both point towards the same thing, coexistence of visible and invisible.

'Still...within' - some thoughts by Ranjan De

Finding the way to the Attic was like an active puzzle. Just off Sansad Marg, the way up discretely hidden alongside a tailoring shop, it was what made the inner space of that gallery too worth discovering.
It was like entering an inner sanctum of a meditative space.
The exhibition of drawings - drawn with force with soft graphite pencils primarily and other media was hidden in a curtained chamber.
In this chamber you were one with your thoughts in purveying and being one with Ritu Jain's creations. The chosen space lent itself to the meditative quality of her powerful yet serene concentric linear compostions.
They drew you in and drew you out. And the silence on that space was light, not at all unbearable as such a space could get, as though the drawings on the wall were lending their energy to that space, leaving and awakening your sense of inner calm.
In an alcove, a darker space stood a body form, enclosed in a bright vibrant spiraling clothing installation, quite different in the calmness of the space adjacent. This was a creation from her earlier body of work.
It was the only one, standing out like a goddess, wrapped in beams of energy rising to a crescendo. On a closer look a placer explaned to one what it was, but left to my own imaginings it had a far fascinating and moving impact.
Left to my self, I preferred the calm of the earlier space and I drifted back to it, going round and round like a dervish, like the lines in the drawings....
